Recently I've had electric race tracks in my mind, mostly thanks to a place called MiniLand, where there's a nice bigass 4-lane track. Then suddenly I remembered that we had an old Tyco F1 track in our attic from the 90's. So, I brought it down and assembled it and it did take quite the time before it would actually work again. The track needed cleaning to get the current going, some bits were broken and the F1 cars had some misplaced copper wiring.
The track works now and as some friends came to visit, we built together this custom version from the pieces and boy is it awesome. The F1 cars are incredibly fast too and require some self-control to prevent them from flying on every corner
HAHA yeah Same here, I remember these things. I think I probably still have one(maybe two) buried in the MOC room closet somewhere. My dad has a bunch of board gams, train sets and stuff like this piled up in there. This looks like fun.
And I remember that, the cars could be so fast they'd fly off so you actually had to control the throttle. Fun times man. I had one track that had a flat curves but then had this big bowl curve for letting loose and going top speed. Damnit, I wanna come over and race with you now this looks like so much fun.
Yeah just a bit. But if I'm gonna be in Europe, I'll stop and visit all the European MOCers. My friend *WDenniz lives in Belgium, I'd definitely have to go see him. But now I suppose I can add you and Finland to my list.
